Dr Allison Shaw away
Dear Greenwood Medical Centre Patients,
We are letting you know that Dr Allison Shaw will be away from Greenwood Medical Centre during the month of July 2026 as she will be working as the team doctor for the U17 Junior Tall Ferns while they embark on their FIBA World Championship campaign in Europe, after a successful silver medal placing at FIBA Asia Cup campaign in 2025.
During her absence, Dr Frances Moon will be looking after her patients and you are welcome to book an appointment with her while Dr Shaw is on leave. See below.

Dr Frances Moon
Frances has worked for Greenwood Medical Centre previously. She was an Auckland born and trained GP, completing her fellowship in 2013, and is a proud Mum of 3. She enjoys the variety that General Practice brings and has done further studies in Travel Medicine. She also does Medical Education work with GP registrars and medical students through the College of General Practitioners and Auckland University. Frances is delighted to be returning to Greenwood Medical and looks forward to caring for Allison’s patients while she is away.
