Changes to Covid funding
As of 1st of July Covid testing is no longer funded for general practice.
Whilst Covid Anti-viral medicines remain funded and are available for eligible people, standard GP consult charges now apply to COVID consultations. These consults are provided via phone or video. Click here for further details.
Covid 19 vaccines are still funded until 30 June 2025.
Flu vaccines are available until 31 December and are free for eligible people. Please ring and book an appointment with a nurse if you would like a vaccination. You can have your Covid booster at the same time if it is six months since your latest Covid positive result or last booster. There are many benefits to remaining vaccinated.
Convenience and safety of Virtual Appointments
We would ask that you book a phone or video consult if you need advice for a winter cough or cold. It is best that you remain at home as this will reduce infection spread. It is beneficial to take a RAT test at home prior to consult. RAT tests are provided free from our clinic or local pharmacy until 30 Sept 2024.
Phone and video appointments are available in the weekend.
Mask Wearing
We do support wearing a mask in the clinic. This is your contribution to a healthier, safer environment for everyone. Thank you.
RSV vaccination available: Not funded.
The respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) vaccination is available for people over the age of 60. Fees apply.
Mental Health Check Up
Seasonal affective disorder (SAD) is a form of depression or low mood that can present in winter. It affects up to 3 percent of individuals.
There are many Mental Health support agencies listed on our website. Please book in with your Dr regarding your mental wellbeing if you are concerned. It is useful to book a 30- minute appointment, especially if you have a new diagnosis. This will allow enough time to properly discuss things.
How to get the most out of your 15-minute Dr Appointment
15 minutes is usually enough time to deal with one major or a couple of minor issues. If you have more, please book a double appointment.

Weekend appointments available on the portal
Our weekend clinics are available by appointment only to our enrolled population. Appointments are for urgent care. These can be booked via the portal or by calling reception on 625 6173. Weekend appointments occur a $15.00 surcharge.
